My Story
Hello! My name is Evren and I am 17 years old and I live in Houston, Texas. I’ve always believed that real change starts by listening. There are millions of voices around the world with ideas, challenges, and stories that often go unheard. I want to be someone who connects with those voices and helps turn their needs into real solutions. That’s why I’m drawn to working with engineers in programs like the Peace Corps—people who use their skills to make a lasting difference in under-resourced communities. I believe that many of the most valuable steps toward lasting change begin with infrastructure—because when engineers solve problems like clean water, energy access, or transportation, entire communities can start to grow and thrive in every other aspect of life.
